Here is a little about me. I'm a mother and grandmother, with a love life, animals, being active and mostly my Art!

A retired Architectural Technician I love painting in various mediums such as Acrylics, Watercolours, oils, Graphite, and colour pencils. My illustration journey began when I was approached to illustrate Children's books for an Australian Author/Retired Teacher Brian Dale back in 2015.

As a hand on Artist, taking the illustrator challenge was a new venture for me, from the moment I read my first manuscript of this spider named Charlie… I fell in love with the character.  The quirky rhymes, and mischievous interactions that comically create adventures for this bouncing little Spider gave me all the inspiration I needed to prepare sketches of this bouncing hairy creature. This was Brian's first Children's Book aptly named 'Charlie the Cheeky Spider' was completed in 2016. Collaborating again, I have completed illustrations for his Second book "Rule The School", currently in the publication process, and we're not stopping there with two more manuscripts completed I have my work cut out for me.

Working with Author Roslyn Wiegand on her children's book, was also a delight creating a magical hand-painted book cover in 2018 for "The Rainbow Slide". My illustrations have progressed and made the move to the world of digital new techniques with a very different style. This journey has been a wonderful experience for me leading to other works for future books which I have thoroughly enjoyed.

Now I look forward to continuing to evolve my art style.  I am embracing this world as it most certainly is an exciting ride, especially being a member of The Ten Penners. With these collaborative writers of Children's Adventure Anthologies I am looking forward to many more of my own illustrating adventures beginning with our Soon to be released New Anthology "Backyard Beasts and Curious Capers" I invite you to Join me on this ride!
